Due to an alarming increase in fraudulent users we’ve had no choice but to increase measures to prevent dishonest users trying to ruin it for everyone else. Honest users will notice little impact, but the new changes such as the sign in requirement and other checks are part of the changes we’ve been forced to make.
These changes are regrettable but necessary for the survival of FreeXDN.com as a source of free crypto for fans of DigitalNote XDN.
This week saw an alarming increase in fraudulent users bypassing IP checks by using proxies and VPN services so we’ve had no choice but to enlist the support of an IP quality checking service. This independent third party checks IP addresses and returns a rating which indicates if the address is either linked to a VPN service or has committed fraud on other websites.
IP addresses that are flagged as extremely high risk of being either routed through a VPN service or connected to previous online fraud are now blocked. We have had no choice but to implement this check in order to keep things fair for everyone.
We understand and respect your need for privacy but we must weigh this against keeping our site available for all users. Our DigitalNote reserves are entirely self-funded, so when we are cheated out of DigitalNote it means less to go around for everyone.
If you encounter issues logging in and have had no issues in the past, then it may just be your current IP address. Reconnecting to the internet can often result in a new IP assigned by your provider which may help resolve this. If you’re using a VPN service, we kindly ask you disable this while visiting our site so you do not get blocked.
Our mission is to encourage the use of DigitalNote, and users taking more than what is fair leaves less for other users.
